Hmm, what a nice place. This was the first thought that entered Maple's head when the Bell Mountains came into view. Approaching the top of one of the slopes, Maple looked out onto the sparsely tree-covered mountains. It was in these wide open spaces where she felt happiest; there were no little caves or rooms here! Maple had a tendency to be claustrophobic, but that problem couldn't reach her here, not on these towering hills!
Wandering up to a thin sapling, Maple yawned. It was evening by now, and she was tired -- this was her first day in Nenbrook and she had spent all of it exploring the various streets and forests. The she-cat slid into a luxurious stretch, raking her claws against the dry ground and curling her tail into a tight spiral. But suddenly, another scent wafted up from behind her, carried by a faint breeze that ruffled her fur uncomfortably. Maple rasied her head and glared to the approahing cat behind her: Way to ruin a nice day, she growled inwardly. Pulling out of her stretch, Maple composed her features and set a smile on her face. "Hello!" she called out, trying to appear innocent.
[ooc: Sorry, it's short; I don't have any time. My next post will be longer.]
