Sipping threw the darkening forest, a cat hissed silently to its self. Dusk stalked forward. Her black pelt blending in the night. A wicked chuckel sounded beside her head. "Where do you think your going?" A crimson red tom hissed in her ear. "GO AWAY!" Dusk shreaked snapping at the illusion burning in her mind. Foreat rose on all sides. Hallow sneered. "I mean it Hallow leave me alone! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Dusk snarled. "Its kind of sad when you name your Illusions." Hallow sneered. Dusk stormed forward trying hard to rid herself of the illusion. The illusions spoke to her. Didn't mean she had to talk back. The russet tom spun in front of her. "Dont you ignore me nut job!" Dusk padded straight threw him. A new voice sounded next to her. "Shut your mouth candy cane!" A dusky brown she-cat stood by Dusk's side. "Dont you speak to me like that goody two-shoes" Crimson snarled. Great, now her illusions were fighting. "Can it. Both of you!" Dusk hissed. Crimson snorted. Tansy sighed. Both illusions kept up with quite bickering. Dusk sighed. Leave me alone. Just kill me and be done with it. Just go. Dusk padded forward threw the trees. The shadows grew deeper and colder. Crimson and Tansy padded behind her. "It'll be okay sweety" Tansy murmured. "Im here to help you" Crimson sighed. "Why cant you just join me and Falcon and annoy her to death?' "SHUT UP!"

Senses alert, Caddy silently padded through the forest. His light tabby pelt stood out among the darkness and his blue eyes were almost like flashlights, lighting the way for him. He had run, and run, and run all night, and now here he was. Luckily, he was a very capable cat and could easily handle this darkness and this forest, but he did feel a little nervous as he edged around a tree. It was almost nighttime and getting chilly, too unlucky for him and his short fur. He gave a shudder, wishing it was daytime. This forest would probably be a lot more welcoming when it was not nighttime, but for now, Caddy needed a place to sleep, and he was sure there could be a tree hollow or an old fox den somewhere in the forest. He froze when he heard a large, snarling voice. A fox? he thought but then he realized that the yell was forming words. No fox would be smart enough to learn cat.
Curious, the tom padded forward, mouth open, should he smell anything dangerous. He followed the voice, crouching down. His soft underbelly lightly brushed the leaves on the ground, and he jumped when the call sounded again. He was a little away when he noticed that it was a cat who had shrieked. Probably friendly, too. He straightened himself up, licking himself clean, and padded forward. At first he didn't see any cat, but when he looked hard, he noticed the outline of a black cat in the forest. He nodded respectfully. Hello. I'm Cadmium Sundance, you can just call me Caddy. He didn't want to seem scared, but he was shaking inside. Would this cat attack him?

Dusk Madflames hissed in suprise. Her black body rocketed up into the air. Crimson's wicked laugh echoed in her ear. His voce slowly faded out. "Scared of a little stray after your life...." Tansy sighed by Dusk's side. She didn't leave, she sat her dusky brown body next to Dusk. Damn illusion. Dusk turned to the new comer. Her green eyes survaying him with some small curiosity. He had a light tabby pelt and glowing blue eyes. His pelt was prickling. He must have just been dumpt. Poor cat. Dusk felt some sympathy. Her mind was a dark curropt place, but wasn't void of compasion. She blinked slowly. Pushing herself up, Dusk stood on her toes to look the tom square in the eyes. "He looks calm on the outside, but he is a jumbled mess of worry and terror on the inside." Tansy murmured. Glareing side ways at the brown she-cat Dusk sighed. "It is good to meet you, Cadmium Sundance." She murmured. A white cat appeared at her side. Cloud asked." Are you going to tell him your real name?" These illusions were becoming quite annoying tonight. "You may call me Dusk Madflames, or Dusk for short." Dusk blinked. What would he think of her odd name?

The forest was silent, as if waiting. Nothing stirred. Then, the cat jumped, and Caddy backed away one step. His soft ginger paw landed on a leaf and it crackled lightly. The black cat seemed to hesitate for a moment - was it wondering how to kill him? Caddy squared his shoulders, eyes burning in the black cat's pelt. He knew how to fight. He was surprised about this. He was thoroughly shaken about running away from Mr. Brown, and yet he was already thinking these thoughts. Usually, he was a calm, gentle cat. Maybe he would learn to be that cat again on the streets. He couldn't help saying that being a stray looked promising; there was plenty of food in the marketplace and in this dark forest, places to sleep, everything. It was better than being trapped in a doghouse with the stench of dog and Mr. Brown all over. He tensed slightly as he waited for the cat's answer.
At last she answered. She had seemed to be listening to someone before, her eyes faraway, as if she was in a distant land. She look wistful, and full of wisdom. Caddy lifted his head slightly as she replied. Dusk Madflames. Maybe everyone on the streets had a terrifying name like that. Telling himself not to think that way, Caddy perked up his ear. Maybe there was something she was listening to? But there was nothing, only the faint whisper of the breeze as it streamed through the forest, lightly rustling branches. He switched his attention back to Dusk. Well, then, hello Dusk. he meowed lightly. He felt a lot happier now, but he didn't know why.

Dusk blinked. Cadmium seemed to be trying to listen to something. Aw crap. He could see that she was listening to someone else. Tansy sighed. "You are so paranoid, Dusky" Dusk hissed low under her breath, flicking her neon eyes to the brown she cat than back to Cadmium. Her icy glare sliced threw Cloud demanding she not say a word. Than her eyes landed on the ginger tabby in front of her. "Thank you.... Cadium.."she hesitated over the tom's name. It seemed so odd speaking to a real cat for once. She shot another worried glare at her illusions. God it sucked being crazy. twisting slightly she stood up all the way. Dusk wasn't crazy looking, she was actually the purebred show cat. Her black pelt glowed slightly brown in the dark, showing off her breed. Her green eyes were perfect. Solid green instead of the amber that a normal cat's would have been. Her body was long and tail, and though she stood as tall as the tom she probably weighed half as much. She looked deliciate. Huh. Why did the cute ones have to be crazy? "What brings you to the forest?" To Dusk's great annoyance Tansy and Cloud spoke with her. She could hear the odd echo to the sound, but she was positive Cadmium couldn't.
ooc:// Thanks <3, sorry to confuse Caddy with ma insane kitty =P, and her breed is Bombay

ooc: its okay xD
The she-cat always hesitated before she answered. Caddy wondered why. Maybe she had some mind problem? Or maybe she had severe paranoia? he thought briefly before turning back to Dusk. Thank you. No one had ever said to him before. He welcomed it warmly, but then thought, Well....what did I do? So he blurted out, It's okay, you don't need to thank me. I didn't do anything. He immediately regretted it. Why had he just lost his first thanks?
Why is it her business why I've come here? he thought quickly, but forced a smile to his face. Oh, I just ran ran away from an owner that used to abuse me. he purred as pleasantly as he could. He was trying not to alarm the she-cat. She seemed strangely....insane.

Dusk blinked. Cadmium blurted out his words. paused than mewed another line. the last line surprised Dusk. That there was the reason she couldn't feel bad for herself. Others new her pain. Dusk couldn't help the smile that pulled at the corners of her mouth. Cloud smiled kindly at her, and padded away. Tansy was more... protective. Could an illusion be protective? The brown cat was watching Dusk closely, as if she expected her to snap.
Dusk returned her attention to Cadmium. " You were kind, thats what you did. And you spoke to this insane cat" Dusk snorted flicking her tail dismissively toward Tansy, who stuck her tongue out at her. the cats around here all knew Dusk had... mind problems. "And I am very thankful, for it" she mewed still to her great surprise smiling. She wanted to talk to this cat. She wanted so badly to ignore her illusions and dive into reality for just a short bit of time.
Cadmium purred out his abuse. How was that possible? He looked like he was trying hard, not to over explain it... Was the look in his eyes... worry? Dusk sighed. She hated when any one worried over her. "I was abused when I was a kitten. Not like you probably.." Dusk murmured thinking over the human kit that had killed her family. "But I ran away." Dusk felt the frown slip into place. "And I changed my name... I couldn't stand to be Dusk Havenclaw anymore.." she murmured. Her thoughts shifted to her dead parents there bloody black body's.. The ravaged flesh of there torn throats.. Dusk shuddered. "But I don't much enjoy talking about it"she whimpered.

Hm, he was kind. Well, that was valid. Insane? See she even calls herself insane! he thought, but then remembered that he was supposed to be kind. I don't think you're insane. he meowed politely, licking his shoulder, trying to maintain a calm attitude. And I am very thankful for it. Caddy was very surprsed. Dusk didn't seem so insane anymore. His thoughts came out in a jumble of words. I-don't-think-do-you-you're-thanks-not... He paused, and tried to say it in a friendly manner. I don't think you're insane. You do not need to say thanks to this selfish cat. he joked lightly, Do you need someplace to sleep? I do. Do you know this forest?
When he heard her say something his ears perked up. She was abused when she was a kitten. She ran away and changed her name. And she didn't enjoy talking about it. Well, that was explainable. But the way she whimpered it...Caddy had a very kind heart, and he didn't know what made him put his tail comfortingly on the stranger-cat's shoulder. It's perfectly fine, he soothed, I went through it, also. What am I doing? the selfish side of him thought. Well, the other side of him replied smugly, Saving the world from depression and hate.

Dusk stared at Cadmium as he rambled pointlessly. Wait.. he didn't see it? This ginger tabby didn't see it? Dusk mind whirled in confusion. The hate, the pain. Names and taunts. tansy took that moment to speak. Don't fall into it Dusk. He doesn't know you. Dusk lost it. She flinched and withered under Cadmium's tail. Her body shook in one great convulsion and she blacked out. Falling face first into the mud that had once been under paw.
Were do you go after you fall? Hell? Did she even believe in hell? Dusk's unconscious mind thought hard over this. Were else would humans come from. Was the answer it came up with. Dusk's body shuddered in her forced sleep. Unknown to her she was whimpering in her sleep. "Why......dead... all of them.... mother..... Tansy....damn you tansy..." Flinching she gasped in her sleep. A single image blazed behind her closed lids. The human boy. Ice pick in hand... That bloody ice pick... Her parents blood dripped from it's mangy paws. Its evil black eyes blazed as it stared at her. Her parents could not save her this time.
Unknown to her, Dusk clawed at the dirt. Her body shifting and flinching in her hidden vision. Not insane. Damn you Tansy. you ruined it all. Cadmium would run now. He would leave this insane cat alone to screech at her visions once again. I wish I would die. she whispered in her mind. All of her vision cats whispered with her. Could cadmium hear the wish? if he could Dusk hoped he would give her her wish....

It was weird. One second he was coforting her, or trying to comfort her, and the next second, she was on the ground. Caddy zoned out for a second while she said a few private words that she probably didn't want to hear. The small tom was very worried now. His first instinct was to bolt away, never look at this insane cat again. But then he remembered - he was a GOOD cat. He took care of other people. However, he was very worried. Nevertheless, he leaned down o her level. Are you okay? He seized the she-cat scruff and dragged her out of themud. First thing would be to clean her. Ugh. Mud on his tongue. He ignored it, til the job was done.
The next thing he did was to get some herbs. The forest felt wild and spooky, but he managed to make out some thyme and poppy seeds. He picked up some cobwebs, too, in case she had any wounds. And he stoped right in front of her and waited til she was conscious again.

Dusk shivered in her dark dream. Than again wasn't that what her life had become? A dark dream? A cruel nightmare, taunting and laughing at her pain and misery. Slowly comeing too ,Dusk heard a cat or at least she thought it was a cat. It shuffled around her. Fealing a soft pelt press against her side, Dusk shifted closer into it. There were many cats around her. Shivering Dusk picked out everyone in that pile. The dusky brown Tansy. The poofy white Cloud. Even her old tormentors were seen there. The russet Crimson. The dark thunder cloud, Yarrow. And a couple Dusk had never seen before. What a bad sign. With a whimper Dusk lifted her head slowly resting her muzzle on Tansy's back she saw a golden tom... He looks familer.. Wait... Cadium? "She's awake." The whisper went through her illusions. And deep in her heart Dusk switched the words around. Her hidden friends curled around her puring. Her head remained laid across tansy's back, as the she-cat groomed her ears. Dusk stared at Cadium for a long moment. "Im sorry." was all she could think to say.I know you think I am insaine, well I am. I know your going to run away, dissapear just like every one else... Dusk sighed staring up at Cadium's blue eyes. So why dont you leave?
