The blind silver cat pressed her tiny body into the leather seatsm trying to become invisable. She didn't make a peep not a word. With all her might, Silver Moonfall wished that Master would forget the incident. That he would forget that she clawed a child. Would forget that she was even in the truck. Hoping that he wouldnt take her back to the cold hard cages of the shelter. But no matter how hard she wished, she knew that Master woulnd not forget. The truck stopped which confused Silver all the more. The area they were in didn't smell right. It didn't smeel at all like the city where the shelter was instead it was...woodsy? Silver Moonfall could feel the carrage being jerked up by the handle, she could hear the car doors opean and slam, ad she could smell the dirt on the road and the trees that lined it. Then it dawned on her excatctly what Master was thinking and she freaked.
"NO! Please. You can't. I...I won't do that again. I will apologize...I...I will clean my own litter but please don't leave me." Silver begged almost in tears. "I..I'll catch enough food for everyone...I'll stop scratching the couch.." Silver stopped for the carrage had been dropped by the master and her paws hit the road hard enough to knock her off balance and make her bite her toungue. The blood started to fill her mouth but the silver cat didn;t notice. She kept crying even though it was useless. Master was just as deaf to her wails as she was blind to the world.
Her tiny sobs slowly quieted down into whimpers as she listened to the zipper of the carrage opean and as the giant hand reached in and pulled her from it. The hand gently put the cat down and Silver screeched in pure agony and terrer as the3 scent of ehr master started to fade with the sound of the truck. Out of desperation, she ran after the truck but her legs grew tired and her broked tail made it next to impossable to run straight as she feel into the grass on the side of the road.
The silver tabby didn;'t get up, instead she lay there as her breath slowly calemed down. From anyother veiwer, she would have looked like a corpse. For all it even mattered in the world, she felt like a corpse.
The blind cat listened to the flys buzz around her ear, she felt the sunrays warm her pelt and a little bit of sadness was replaced with joy. She was alone for the first time and it scared her like a kitten. However, at the same time, she was in a natureal place. Slowly, she got up, still a little weak from crying. She shook her fur as if to shake all the sadness away and turned aways from the road, ready to exlore the rest of the world. There had to be sombody around who wouldnt mind if she hanged out around them...right?
