Welcome to the world of Carpe Diem, an intermediate/advanced, stray cat, play-by-post role-play.
Magic is not allowed, but creativity is and if you enjoy role-playing or simply love cats then this is a great place for you.
If you have any questions, contact Indigo.
The voting for the July OTM's are currently open, so if you haven't sent in your votes yet, well, don't blame us if Sea bites your limbs off.
Activity checks are going on again- please see the announcements for more details.
It really doesn't surprise me that Sea made the July MOTM. She's been super active, with detailed posts and much character development over the past few weeks. Her hard work and great spirit expands from her normal memberly duties to her moderator status, and I don't think there's anyone on the site left unimpressed by Sea's enthusiasm and all-around awesomeness on CD. Congratulations to Sea!
This month's COTM goes to Speedy's Jarrah, he is very well developed and I enjoy reading his posts. They're all very unique with song lyrics throughout. He's very sweet and caring, his speaking voice is very proper, and that's what makes him so romantic, if I were you, I'd want a post with Jarrah Eclipsemoon straight away. =] Good work, Speeds.
This thread is the mating thread between Jarrah and Lavender, it's a very sweet and romantic thread. I was utterly moved by it and just loved this love thread. xD It's a great read. I just loved reading Jarrah's very proper voice, I could almost hear him speaking to me, as well as Lavender, kudos guys!
Well, we had a tie for the TOTM this month, so both are being featured here. This is a very interesting thread to read, Slate gives me the image of a "deer in the headlights" at one point and Tempest has a very cool personality. This thread is very well written. Good job guys!
All in-character posts that you make must be at least 100 words in length.
carpe diem is being replaced ! »september twenty-eighth, two-thousand-nine.
i'm sure a bunch of people have guessed, but sea and i have been working on a new site as a run-off of carpe diem called nunquam amitto. the story is that nenbrook was hit by a "hurricane" and the place was destroyed. lots of people (aka our former member's characters) were killed, while others washed up on a beach in a new place called lutraine. its in a tropical-like location, and we've got all the boards finished, and now we're just touching up and things before we "officially" open it.
for anyone who hasn't figured it out, lu has retired. it was her decision and we're not going to give her a hard time for it- some people just grow out of their interests pertaining to certain activities over time, the same way i stopped playing with toys when i was eleven. anyways, the new site is ready to be populated, so to the members we still have left,
-bows- i hope to some old (and new) faces around the place before the week is over. anything you'd like to discuss can be brought up in the c-box.
apo (& sea).
ps: to prevent theft, i've made every existing member staff and put this place into maintenance mode. collect your stuff, and then we'll have a nice, clean break.
